Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU) was represented at the 35th European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference, held in Gothenburg, Sweden, from September 9–12, 2025, to develop its internationalization strategy, strengthen existing collaborations, and establish new agreements.

ASBU participated in the conference with its stand in the "Study in Turkey" pavilion, organized by the National Agency. The university was represented by International Office Coordinator Prof. Barış Alpaslan and International Office staff members Lecturer Dr. Deniz Çalık and Lecturer Ayşegül Azaklı.

On the first day of the conference, the ASBU stand was visited by National Agency President İlker Astarcı. In addition to discussions with existing partner universities to strengthen collaborations, new universities from various countries were also contacted.

On the first day of the event, meetings were held with approximately 50 universities from various countries. While the aim is to increase the number of Erasmus+ agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs), many new academic collaborations from around the world are planned for the coming period.

As part of EAIE 2025, the ASBU stand will also welcome visitors from September 11–12, 2025.
