Private charitable foundations scholarships will be given to the students in financial need by our university.
Success scholarship: ASBU will give 1250₺ success scholarship to the students who are in the first 5 thousand successful students according to the results of ÖSYM (Language and Turkish& Mathematics-1) and mentioned our university in their first 5 choices.
Lunch scholarship: SKS head of department provides lunch scholarship to the successful students in financial need. In the beginning of each academic year, free lunch scholarship application is announced on the website of our university by SKS head of department. Some other organisations to apply for scholarship:
Turkish Education Foundation: TEV, provides scholarships to the successful vocational secondary education, bachelors, masters and phd students in financial need. Students who want to apply should visit TEV website between 5- 30 September, fill the form, print it and sign it, prepare necessary documents and complete the application procedure in the announcement.
Community volunteers foundation: Among TOG’s requirements there is a condition that you need to work as a volunteer for a social responsibility project at least 4 hours a week. Another criteria of TOG which has established a web at 60 universities in Turkey is academic success. Scholarships’ continuity grounds on the students’ academic success. Average scholarship is 130₺. Hacı Ömer Sabancı Foundation: The foundation which has provided scholarships to more than 24 thousand students for 31 years decides on a base point score each year. Scholarship applications are done between 15 September and 15 October. At the end of November, names of the winners are announced. The foundation gives the scholarship for 9 months every year and with the condition of paying back. Paying back is requested as 24 months instalment after 1 year than the student finishes the school and starts working. Sabancı Foundation Phone: 0212 385 88 00.
21st Century Education and Culture Foundation: The foundation whose aim is to contribute to the social and cultural improvement of the children, young people and all people of our country is offering scholarship opportunities to the students who are successful but having difficulties in continuing their education and fulfil the specified conditions every year.
Alarko Education and Culture Foundation: The applications to the foundation scholarship should be made via the scholarship offices of universities. The foundation does not accept the scholarship applications directly. The scholarship offices of universities select students as many as the quota specified and pass them the foundation management. The foundation provides non-refundable scholarships every year for the training of successful and talented young people in the education age.
Kibar Education and Social Aid Foundation: The foundation provides scholarships to the young and talented students with limited finances who study at primary, secondary, and higher education levels, do researches and make examinations. The foundation provides scholarships to 60 students in total. The applications are made in Septembers. Yumlu Education, Culture and Science Research Foundation: Yumlu Foundation is providing scholarships for successful students who have difficulties in continuing their higher education due to their financial means and is trying to create special opportunities for their scholars, including social development issues, to support the opportunities provided.
TÜBİTAK 2211- Domestic Graduate Scholarship Program BİDEB Graduate and PhD Scholarships
TÜBİTAK is providing scholarship, incentive scholarship and additional scholarship to the students who are T.C citizens or Blue Car holders in article 5901 and are studying doctorate after undergraduate/graduate program with thesis, integrated doctorate/ undergraduate program with thesis in Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities.
