Applications for Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies for the spring semester of the 2026-2027 academic year will be accepted online via TurnaPortal. Application, selection and placement will be held on this platform. Applications after the deadline will not be accepted.

● The language score used for the evaluation will be the score obtained from the Erasmus+ Language Proficiency Exam, which will be held in September 2026. Candidates who take the exam and achieve the required score (70 points) will be eligible to apply. No other language scores will be accepted.
● Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies must be completed by July 31, 2027. Accordingly, participants can apply to Erasmus+ mobility for the 2026-2027 spring semester.

2. Transcript of records
The list of universities available for selection is published under the "Partner Universities" section of the ASBU Erasmus webpage.
- For application, candidates should be at least 2nd-year bachelor's degree students.
- Graduate students can apply in their first semester.
- Thesis students need to upload approval forms from both their advisors in ASBU and the host university.
- For the spring semester, 1 person from each department will be funded.
- Candidates are responsible for investigating the language requirements of the host universities.
- Candidates are responsible for investigating the academic calendars of the host universities.
- ASBU can fund students participating in Erasmus+ mobility for one semester. The grant duration for the students is limited to 4 months (120 days).
- All mobility programmes, including funded and non-funded, must be finalised on 31.07.2027.
Minimum Requirements for Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies Applications
- The student must be a full-time student registered in a higher education programme at any of the formal education levels (first, second or third level) within the university.
- Candidates should have a course load of at least 30 ECTS credits for the semester.
- Students must have a minimum overall grade point of 2.50/4 for undergraduate and 3.00/4 for graduate degrees.

Calculating the Grants

80% of this grant is paid after the necessary documents are submitted to the office before departure.

The remaining 20% of the grant is paid after the activity is completed and the relevant documents are submitted to the office.

There is a deduction from the grants of students who do not fulfil their responsibilities and/or are unsuccessful. The deduction amount is determined fairly as a result of the evaluation made by our university's exchange commission after examining the student's situation.

The mobility period should be at least 90 days.
Travel
- As of 2024, travel grants are also defined for students. The European Union distance calculation tool is used to determine travel costs.
- If necessary, individual support grants can be given for travel time before and after the activity, up to a maximum of two days for travel days and up to a maximum of six days if green travel is used.
